Stone Technical Services are specialist providers of heritage building conservation and restoration, commercial lightning protection services and extensive maintenance and facilities management services.
Established for over two decades, an extensive team across 3 UK offices and an impressive portfolio of clients including the likes of St Paul’s Cathedral, Serpentine Bridge, Royal Courts of Justice, Forth Road Bridge and Westminster Central Hall, Stone are the go-to experts for their specialist services.
The Stone Technical Services team approached Hush as their old website had become dated, requiring a full redesign and back-end redevelopment to bring visuals and admin accessibility up to date.
The client had a clear vision in terms of the tone they wanted their new website to set: friendly, approachable and excellent at what they do. Hush needed to incorporate this into a new website with supporting content that would instantly engage website visitors, seamlessly guide them around the website and ultimately encourage them to get in touch with Stone.
Stone also required bespoke design support to add an element of informality to the website and showcase the personality of the team behind the brand. This required the creation of team characters and a range of hand-sketched service icons – we do love something a bit different at Hush!
The team at Hush Digital delivered a brand new, bespoke and highly engaging website, tailored exactly to Stone Technical Services’ requirements.
We crafted a bespoke front-end design packed with plenty of animated elements, optimised content, new character graphics and bespoke service sketches to deliver a friendly and approachable feel throughout. We restructured the sitemap to simplify the navigation, allowing users to easily discover who Stone are, what they do and who they do it for, with continuous calls to actions throughout.
The website was supported by a powerful CMS built on the WordPress platform, providing the extendable, future-proof solution that the client required to allow the new site to grow inline with their ambitions. This CMS also enables the client to login their site content with ease, without the need to constantly contact us for small, manageable changes.
