From a ladder and a bucket to the formation of a national business, MJF was originally founded in 2006 by Martin Ferguson as a domestic window cleaning business which rapidly diversified into the commercial sector.
As MJF’s reputation grew rapidly, in 2009 it started to extend its cleaning and support services further afield into the construction industry. Fast forward 5 more years, further growth and success enabled the acquisition of F&G Industrial, immediately diversifying MJF’s service offering again into the world of industrial floor restoration, providing the installation of resin and wood flooring.
After a couple of company name evolvements over these years, it was time for MJF to position themselves as the umbrella operation they’d grown into, creating MJF Group, which operates as three specialist divisions; facilities management, specialist flooring and site services, with national coverage across the whole of the UK.
The evolution to MJF Group required a full overhaul, beginning with a full business rebranding process, the development of new collateral and a brand new website to accompany the new look, with the latter being where Hush came into play. With big-name, nationwide clients, MJF wanted the new website to reflect their high reputation in the industry.
MJF previously had separate websites for the various sectors, services and business names covered, which were all super outdated with container-style, non-responsive designs and no integrated content management systems. Thus, they needed an complete redesign and backend development to swiftly bring each division together and into the current state of play.
This project was very much a collaboration, as Hush worked closely alongside another agency who executed the brand development, as it was vital that the new website fully incorporated MJF’s key messaging and brand positioning as well as a stunning design and powerful platform for future-growth and expansion.

The new responsive web design incorporates MJF’s new branding throughout with different colour highlights for each specialist division, core services and case studies area. The new site boasts an entirely bespoke design, including a dynamic homepage slider, developed from scratch by the team at Hush.
The new homepage also features stunning video and image blocks that make the site engaging at every click and scroll, ensuring MJF stands out from the crowd and key competitors. The new website was created with a sleek and straightforward navigation structure to ensure users from various target markets and audiences are able to navigate quickly and easily.
Hush built the website on the robust WordPress platform, carefully crafting each element exactly to MJF Group’s precise needs, making sure that the website is totally portable and that the team at MJF can update the information on the site and also add news, case studies and blogs.
