Key Responsibilities

You’ll be doing all the usual front-end stuff, including the delivery of superb websites for very happy customers all over the world to keep them at the top of their games, but you’ll also be working directly with the lead developers and designers to ensure our business continues to go from strength to strength.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working with the studio as a core cog in our web development process
• Taking PSD designs and converting them into HTML 5 and CSS 3
• Applying Javascript and J-Query
• Carrying out thorough testing of conversion work
• Managing various support queries that are relevant to your department and skills

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

We need you to be a talented individual who is keen to get stuck in and develop your skills further as you go.  You’ll need the ability to manage your workload with maximum efficiency, ensuring key project deadlines and goals are never missed.

Must-Have Skills

• A strong understanding of HTML 5 and CSS 3
• Experience in Javascript and J-Query
• Experience with WordPress
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work across a number of different projects at any one time
• Good communication skills and a great attitude to keeping our customers happy
• A keen interest to learn and grow within a role where the sky is the limit

Bonus Skills

• Agency experience
• Basic Understanding of PHP
• Version Control
• Adobe CC Suite
• CSS Compiler – SASS
• Knowledge of cross-browser and various other testing processes

Key Performance Indicators

You will work alongside the Creative Director to ensure KPIs are achieved monthly, reporting back during weekly studio meetings.

And Finally

Job Type: Permanent and full-time

Working Week: Typically Monday-Friday 09.00-17.00 but there will be the odd occasion where earlier/later attendance is required for events and deadlines

Wage: A competitive salary dependent on experience
