WE’RE TURNING 21

It really doesn’t seem that long ago we were celebrating our 20th birthday, but this month Hush hits another huge milestone; our 21st birthday. Over the past 21 years, we have continued to grow and evolve year by year and have gone from strength to strength, working with a wide range of clients on UK based and international projects alike.

What Was Happening 21 Years Ago?

So, what was happening 21 years ago when the company started? I’ll Be Missing You by Puff Daddy enjoyed three weeks at the top of the UK charts. The Prodigy’s The Fat of the Land had dethroned Radiohead’s OK Computer as the number one album and the NOW compilation albums had only just hit NOW 37. The world of film was dominated by Jurassic Park: The Lost World, Men in Black and Mr Bean! The Labour Party under Tony Blair had recently won a landslide victory in the polls. Manchester United had just celebrated their 4th Premier League title win, while Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest suffered heartbreaking relegation.

21 Years of Digital

From the company’s inception initially as ‘Intermedia Solutions’ back in 1997, to our rebrand over 10 years’ ago to become Hush Digital, to Jonny and Mike Overfield taking over the company in 2010, we have seen lots of change, notable growth and development over our 21-year lifespan, and we have plenty more to come in the next 12 months!

With a continually evolving team, Hush is filled with a highly trained and experienced group of individuals. Each with their own area of expertise, this allows us to offer a range of specialist and bespoke services, for many new and already existing clients. Our goal to create and provide high-quality online solutions is at the core of what Hush has to offer and is what helps set us apart from the competition.

Our passion and enthusiasm for everything digital has opened the door for us to work with some big names in a range of different industries both locally and nationally. What a year 2018 has been for the HushBots up to now. Our 21st year has seen new ‘Bots join the team and further growth has allowed new, exciting roles to open up. We have launched new and exciting websites for new and existing clients and we are super excited for what the rest of the year has in store for us.
